Tonight at Jamie’s Sanctuary: Understanding Anxiety
Tonight at Jamie’s Sanctuary: Understanding Anxiety
We’re delighted to welcome Kevin Mullin to Jamie’s Sanctuary for tonight’s drop-in.
Kevin is a multi award-winning therapist and radio host who specialises in online mental health and relationship therapy. Passionate about helping people understand their minds and build healthier, happier lives, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion and real-life experience.
Tonight’s session will focus on anxiety – what it is, why it happens, and, most importantly, practical techniques to help manage it. Kevin will share simple, effective coping strategies that our young people can take away and use in their everyday lives when anxiety begins to feel overwhelming.
Alongside Kevin’s talk, Jamie’s Sanctuary will continue to offer our confidential one-to-one support sessions throughout the evening. For anyone who would prefer to talk privately, we have a dedicated room where young people can speak in confidence with a member of our team in a safe, non-judgemental space. Whether you need someone to listen, guidance, or simply a quiet place to offload, we’re here for you.
At Jamie’s Sanctuary, we believe that understanding our mental health is one of the first steps towards healing. Whether you’re living with anxiety yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more, tonight promises to be an insightful and empowering evening.
We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of learning, connection and hope.
