Tonight at Jamie’s Sanctuary, we are creating a space for honest conversation, shared experience, and connection.
We are honoured to welcome a guest speaker who will be sharing their personal journey through addiction and recovery. Lived experience brings a depth of understanding that cannot be taught – it reminds us that change is possible, even in the most difficult moments.
We will also be joined by Darren Anderson from MINDS of Recovery, who will be speaking about substance use and the powerful role that connection plays in healing. Recovery is not something that happens in isolation – it is often through relationships, support, and feeling seen that people begin to rebuild.
This session will gently explore:
- The realities of addiction and recovery
- The impact of substance use on individuals and families
- The importance of connection, community and support
- Hope, healing, and the possibility of change
As always, this is a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space. You are welcome to come along whether you have lived experience, are supporting someone else, or simply want to listen and learn.
There is no pressure to share – just an opportunity to be present, connect, and take something meaningful from the space.
🤍 You are welcome. You are not alone.
As always, Jamie’s Sanctuary provides a warm, welcoming and safe environment. You are free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, listening is just as valuable as speaking.
Come along, have a cuppa, and take some time for yourself.
And of course, pizza, snacks, and drinks are all free of charge—so whether you’re looking for professional advice, peer support, or just a welcoming space to connect with like-minded people, we’d love to see you there. 1:1’s also available in complete confidence
You are not alone—there is strength in numbers.
