Mental Health Bus

For anyone wondering what we are raising money for, we thought we would give you an insight into our exciting project for Jamie’s Charity!

Our Mental Health Bus will be out and about in different areas around West Lothian through the night, giving young people a safe place to come if they are wandering the streets, or just struggling with mental health. There will be a chill-out zone upstairs to relax and downstairs there will be refreshments and a private room where people can have a 1-2-1 chat if they need to. We will have mental health first aiders and volunteers who will patrol the areas through crisis points during the night from 11 pm – 7 am. We endeavor to do everything that we can to support young people who are in a dark place. 

We need to raise around £200,000 for the project and we’re currently at £17,000, so a bit to go but we are just getting started.
