DROP-IN CENTRE

Are you aged between 18-25 years old? Are you struggling with your mental health, addiction or suffer from suicide ideation? Then please pop into our drop in centre at St Joseph’s Parish Centre, Whitburn on the last Thursday of the month from 7pm – 9pm for support. 

If you feel nervous coming in, please reach out to us and one of our team will gladly come and meet you outside and we can have a chat in confidence straight away. You don’t need to be alone anymore! 

Our Monthly Drop-ins are free to attend and happen on the last Thursday of every month from 7pm – 9pm.

Darren Anderson is the founder of Minds of Recovery, a community-based charity in Irvine dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey. With lived experience and a strong passion for helping others, Darren delivers honest, relatable, and empowering conversations around mental health, addiction, and personal growth. His approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical, offering hope while walking alongside people as they move towards new destinations in their lives. Darren will be joining us at Jamie’s Sanctuary to deliver a chat at our drop-in, sharing insight, encouragement, and real-life perspective on recovery and resilience.

And of course, pizza, snacks, and drinks are all free of charge—so whether you’re looking for professional advice, peer support, or just a welcoming space to connect with like-minded people, we’d love to see you there. 1:1’s also available in complete confidence
